We are so excited to announce Emerson is finally home. I was scheduled to be induced on Thursday, February 2nd at 8:00 a.m. When I called the hospital that morning I was told they were busy and that they would have to delay the induction. And so the waiting began. After 2 walks with my mom and the kids, we received a call at 3:30 p.m. telling us to come in. On our way to the hospital I started to have contractions and by the time I got to my room at 4:30 p.m. they were 5 minutes apart and I was dilated to a 5. No need for an induction, I was in active labor! I guess she was ready to come because after just a few hours she was here. We were surprised at how fast she came and so was the doctor . . . Emerson was delivered by my 3 nurses.
We are home now and doing well. Here are some darling pictures of the new family.
Daddy meeting Emerson for the first time. This is one proud Daddy!
Cooper, Kamryn and Emerson. The kids are in love and I really can't blame them. She is such a sweet little baby.
Grandpa Johnson meeting Emerson.
Mommy and Emerson before leaving the hospital.
Emerson all bundled up for her ride home.
Cooper and Kamryn were so excited when we got home. They couldn't wait to hold their new baby sister.
Love at first sight! Cooper is the cutest big brother I have ever seen. He couldn't get over how CUTE she was and kept saying over and over that she was so cute and had the cutest ears.
