We have an awesome ward and this summer they planned some really fun activities. One of the activities was visiting a working farm. It was a really great experience for the kids to learn where vegetables come from, practice milking a cow (which neither of my kids would do), feeding the animals and much, much more. It also didn't hurt that all of their friends were there too. Here are some pictures of the fun we had.
Cooper showing off the red rainbow chard he picked to feed the pigs and chickens.
Kamryn, of course, went for the pink;)
The kids feeding the HUGE pig.
Some more cuties feeding the chickens.
Cooper petting the goats.
Kamryn making sure the gate was closed so no goats could get her. There was no chance of getting her in there with the goats.
Cooper and Kamryn feeding the bunnies.
Kamryn brushing a pony.
Cooper had to the brush the pony too.
The kids with some of their friends learning about the farm.
